The New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative (NBFC) is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to promoting and building a strong film and television sector in Atlantic Canada and presenting the best films from this region and around the world to our community. Under the umbrella of the NB Film Co-op, there is the Monday Night Film Series, Under the Stars: Films in the Park, and the Silver Wave Film Festival.
Located in the heart of the downtown residential area in Fredericton, NB at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, The NB Film Co-op’s annual Silver Wave Film Festival is a 8-day celebration of film and video from the Atlantic Provinces, Canada, and around the world. Known for its warm and festive atmosphere, the Festival is committed to screening an inspiring and engaging collection of films and videos from Canada and the world. SWFF is in preparation for 2022!
As the regional film and television sector continues to flourish, the Silver Wave Film Festival plays a strategic role as an integral forum for film and video in Atlantic Canada. The Annual Silver Wave Industry Series is a presentation of panels, discussions, master classes, and one-on-one meeting opportunities supported by the Province of New Brunswick and Telefilm Canada.
