SPOTLIGHT ON YOUTH AT THE SILVER WAVE FILM FESTIVAL
Teachers and Students in New Brunswick! Here is your chance to have you and your class involved in Silver Wave 2010!
The Silver Wave Film Festival is putting out a call to all classrooms and students in New Brunswick to submit youth videos in French (with English Subtitles) or English, 5-8 minutes in length in any genre, covering any topic. This contest is open to youth between 8 years and 15 years old.
Students can do: drama, documentary, music video, animation, claymation, experimental or an actual trailer for Silver Wave! If the videos submitted are accepted they will be screened in the Silver Wave Youth Screening Showcase and some youth filmmakers may win an award and prizes for the best video!
Another way to get more involved in SWFF is to email Cat and sign up for one of the Film Co-op's Summer Kids Film Camps! Through the camps, the youth create a short film or trailer that gets showcased at SWFF and it may win an award! Check out the Kids Film Camps website links Here
