Joe is a medicine man that doles out advice for profit. He goes by many names, including “Pays-taxes-sometimes” and “Dances-with-the-Bingo-Dabbers”. He lives in a surprisingly spacious tent in a public park, listens to 80’s music on tape cassettes, and has answers for all of your questions.

Conceived and created by participants in artsnb’s Indigenous Mobile Technology Filmmaking Workshop in May 2017, at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre and the New Brunswick Film Coop. The two-day Workshop was facilitated by Howard Adler, and the resulting film Bad Medicine, was shot entirely using mobile devices.
